Its the DOCTOR!

Okay. It's official. I'm addicted to Dr. Who. Is there, like, some 12 step program for that? Because I'm having difficulty dealing with the fact that The Doctor is a fictional character- not to mention the act that the tenth Doctor, Mr. David Tennant, makes me all weak in the knees. My flairboard on facebook has been populated with Dr. Who flair, including my favorite, "My flair board is bigger on the inside". Also, I can't help but squeal at the screen, "He's the DOCTAH!" Every time I'm watching the show and someone asks, "Who are you?" I'm a few episodes into Season 3, and I bawled my eyes out at the finale to season 2.

Bring Rose back. Do it now.

And I know that I'm going to finish watching and then I'll have to wait till 2010 for my next fix. *whine*

REGARDLESS. I so know whats going on my Christmas list this year.

I want a frickin Sonic screwdriver.

Just popping in

The one at the top is comprised of words from my blog throughout the last few months. Beneath that is one made of a paragraph or two I wrote about family, and the last one is from something I wrote about my sister. Seriously, check the site out, you'll get hooked.

I'll drop some actual art on here later, folks. Talk to you later.

Back to freakin homework. Oh joy.

Ps- Why is the chunk of text at the top underlined? I have noooo idea.

... eheheh....

... Hi.

I'm alive. ^_^

I won't bore everyone with the play by play of the last few months, but now I'm busy because the semester started a few weeks ago and I'm up to my eyeballs in homework pretty much continuously. I have had the opportunity to get some art done though, and I still have photos from Alaska to post, as well as a link for a store where I'm posting art and jewelry for sale. For most of my stuff, you can go and check my dA ( t-rit.deviantart.com ) for art, I have some Alaska stuff and pretty recent artwork, but I'm hoping to update here much more often, with scraps and tidbits, as well as some of the dreative writing I've done for my classes and for myself. For now, however, I'll drop a few sketches and peices of art for you, and return later tonight or tomorrow with better stuff and more info.

The one directly below is my sister and me on the Island Princess. The picture above is a watercolor I did on the train in Skagway, Alaska. The second picture down is the view from the Mt. Mckingley lodge, and the third down is the view from the Skagway train. The puppy at the bottom was my sister's stocking stuffer last year. :)

Until next time.

RDJ Ramblings

So. After seeing Iron Man (which I've now seen twice, with all intention to see it again.) I have developed somewhat of a unhealthy obsession with Robert Downey Jr. Of course, I am not alone, as I have dragged my best friend into the RDJ lover pit as well, which makes the situation a bit less insane. So, between me and my video hunting and her icon and picture hunting... It has simply gotten out of hand. So, I thought I'd spread the insanity- if for no other reason than to be able to quickly come back and look at pictures. So here's a few- (Oh, and props to Lidi for the fantastic icons)

Before the incredulous, 'Good God, woman' statements start- He's a gorgeous, immensely talented actor, and I want to steal his glasses (among other things)- that is all. He's also 5'9" so poo.

And OH GOOD GOD. Samuel L Jackson is Nick Fury! *snicker wheeze* Can I even communicate how damned excited I am about 'the Avenger initiative'? Not without squeals reminiscent of a porpoise, no.

Ciera's photoshoot and ex boyfriend shit

I recently went to take pictures for a good friend of mine, Ciera. She's working on a sure-to-be-amazing cd, and she needed portraits done for it, and I'm sure she's chomping at the bit to see what I've done so far, so I figured I'd post the pics I've had time to work on so far for her. Here you go Ci-ci!

On a completely unrelated note, the God Damned FSA has resurfaced AGAIN after I half-accidentally blew him off at the bar the other night. It's interesting because I was talking to Ciera about it earlier that day. The MOMENT I blew him off I KNEW I was going to come home to find another damned 'Why do you hate me' message floating in my mailbox, though this one turned out to be a bit more long winded than the last one. It's typical, you know? His mother treats him like hes the son of fucking God and now he doesn't know how to take no for an answer. He keeps saying how much he loved/still loves me, and I'm wondering when he's going to wake up and realize that its just a damned infatuation. We dated for 5 months. Love just doesn't happen in 5 months. It's just sad that my infatuation with him wore off way before his did with me. I just want him to stop, and to leave me alone. It might be a different story if he had acted differently after we broke up, but he didn't, so we are where we are, and where I am is in a corner dealing with a whiny, clingy, child of an ex boyfriend who needs to get the hell out of dodge and wake up. A part of me actually cares that he'll read this and be hurt, because we had good times when we dated, but another part hopes that he'll read it. That way, either I'll open his eyes or he'll think I'm a huge bitch. Either way, he might leave me the fuck alone. Christ. Even Coleman left me alone. What the hell, dude?

Until later.

I'm Alive!!

At last! Another semester complete! This one seemed to drag on for quite a while, but I am pleased to say that I have quite a bit of a back-supply of art to upload and share with you faithful (if somewhat non-existent...) watchers. The first group is a couple from a trip to the battlefields when family came for a visit. Not much, but I have another large group to put up too!

lolcats!

I less than three my kitties.

After a brief hiatus!

So since my best friend bitched at me about my lack of updates, here we are again. Sorry for being absent, I've been waaaay busy. ANYWAYS, I figured I'd post a few pictures I've been toying with, and I've been playing with colors, so here we are! I don't like the last one so much...

Graohics Class assignments

Blaaaahh. My graphics class is really no fun. We'll see how it goes. ANYWAYS I have two assignments to post and show the world.
The first is My 'Introspective self portrait' that was a pain in the ass because my teacher gave the most vague description of the assignment in the world... I ended up choosing two things I liked about myself, my eyes and hair and highlighting them. I added my favorite scarf, a few fun textures and then my personal motto. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, given the circumstances. The second... Well, let me be honest. I half-assed the 'fried egg' assignment big time. Basically, I dropped two ellipticals down, added some color and then ran a cutout filter over top to make it all pop-art-y. Now heres the question. Why did photoshop get rid of the erode filter mechanism? It made things a lot easier. Of course, I could be retarded and they just moved it and I've been using 7 for two years and CS3 for a good 4 months and still haven't found it... Whatever. Anyways, the next assignment is to add a "Glow" to an object, so that one should be fairly entertaining wen I get it finished and put up. More to come later, mainly sketches on notes and maybe some jewelry shots. Feel free to comment!

A noteworthy Photoshop Phriday

This is just about one of the funniest things I've seen in weeks. I totally got 7-up out my nose... This is done by BranceMulliganPI on Photoshop Phriday. Freaking CHOICE.

I fail. But I have pretty pictures!

Sorry for the hiatus folks, I got beaten by the sign in system on this damned page, but now I think I've finally sorted that out. I've been doing as much sketching as possible lately due to my growing stress over my upcoming court date for reckless, so I have a few things to post. I haven't really scanned in the random sketches yet, but I have some polished work done.

For now, I give you- BOOBIES.

The blondie's name is Michelle. The lollipop lady is Eleanor. And hush- the sun was in my eyes when I drew the lollipop. Also, the chick in the kimono is Yoko. I'm not sure if I'm going to make her a pinup or not, we shall see. More soon!

Photos..

So, I took some new pictures of the little evil fuzzballs yesterday that I figured I'd post. Giz is a Linx Point Siamese and Taye is a Turkish Angora and their both devious, adorable little demons.

In this last one, its minutes after Taye knocked my tabletop easel off of my art desk, breaking it. (It was cheapo and I got a new one for Xmas, so its all good.) Afterwards, she decided to chew on the freaking feet of it. All things considered, I love that cat to death. More to come!
